First, I appreciate you posting the wording. It's always helpful to go to the source. But my view hasn't changed. Everything I've "absorbed" from reading seems to be accurate regarding what transpired.

If the GOP really felt that way, there would have been no compromise. Now I personally think the GOP would have prevailed in a nuke option, but I wouldn't have bet my house on it.
