I hope they have the cloture at noon, and Frist immediately calls for vote on Owen, then after that vote, call for cloture on Brown, which would mean that she would get voted for sure by the end of the week.

If by the rules, 30 hours of debate after the cloture vote passes. Unanimous consent can take that anywhere. Reid even offered to give unanimous consent to take the vote on Owen, without having a cloture vote.

I heard them say that Sen.Biden has some things to say about Boltons nomination--IOW, he is trying to keep his nomination from coming to the floor.

Bolton is on the Senate's Executive Calendar - Frist controls when it comes to the floor.
