People hold Bush and Clinton responsible for the lapses in Intelligence organizations and while they can bear some of the blame. I blame the people pointing the fingers. It was Congress, the Senate and the Judiciary that emasculated our intelligence organizations in the 70s and 80s. Now, because of their knee jerk reactions to so called abuses of power, the chickens have come home to roost.

I think Us people should be held responsible too. What would have happened if we had of went to Aphganistan before 9/11? After enjoying the inflated economy, we would have been upset at having our apple carts turned over.

May I suggest that our intel agencies could not be trusted - I mean black projects like CIA and LSD and MK Ultra?

To hell with the CIA and the FBI. Turman, Eisenhower and JFK all tried and faield to end the CIA and I wish to god they did.

That does not mean we should not have an intel agency - but we should recognize the CIA is a failed intel agency.
