Free Republic Military?
5/16/05 | Guard Dog

I just read a post on conservative blog that stated few freepers were veterans (implication was that we were chicken hawks). Having conversed with many of you and met a few, I do not believe that is the case. But it did get me wondering, who among us is active or prior service veterans? Awright you freeper vets SOUND OFF!

Yeah, been hearing the chickenhawk slur from a few trolls recently.
Seems they've been coming from other websites where they subscribe to the fallacy that very few of us have served.

Thanks for serving!

Heck, there will even be some who don't make it to this thread because they're overseas.
Or in refresher training, or deployed to points unknown but web accessable.

I bet if DU, LP or many other of the anti-American or anti-military posters put up their credentials, few will have served and those that did, most were discharged administratively or dishonorably.
