There is an internet vandal who defaces Free Republic with very gross pictures (homosexual sex and stuff from rotton.com) as well as posting "ALL YOU F***** N*****S & JEWS SHOULD BE LYNCHED".
He pings a variety of people to his post, ensuring that the trash is still in their My Posts lists.
To me, this isn't the milder form of harassment that Eschoir engaged in so many years ago. The very worst he would do is ask if you ever committed sodomy, and he once used the screen name "Paula Jones Tw*t". This is mild.
What this sick piece of work is doing is much more egregious. I believe it crosses the line into criminal defacement and restraint of trade. Are there any Free Republic lawyers (especially prosecutors) who can address this issue, and are there any private detectives with internet savvy that will help track the identity of this person down?

I was squirming in my chair all day unable to come to the guy's defense. He was merely a blogger who came here today to defend his site and I am on his side all the way. Too many folks here are itching for a lynching .............

The troll himself was spamming quite a few of us.
I myself am on the troll's spam ping list.
The smut posting troll is using a ping list to ping multiple people.
The guy I was referring to in the post you quoted offered excuses for the smut posting troll.
He also said we are powerless against the troll.
Now I for one have had quite enough of the smut posting troll spamming my friends with pics of tuibgirl.
And I will not accept excuses for the troll's behavior, nor will I accept that we are powerless to stop the troll since on a forum I was a member of before coming here, we got a troll who pulled similar crap barred from ever being near a computer again.

I quoted him, and wondered about his defense of the smut posting troll.
