What time do the polls close?
I believe that GMT is 5 hours ahead of EDT.
Also do they still announce the results with all the candidates there.
Monty Python did a hilarious sketch about that with the "loon" party participating.

GMT is 4 hours ahead of EDT. But BST (British Summer Time) is 5 hours ahead of EDT! :)

Monty Python did a hilarious sketch about that with the "loon" party participating. The Raving Monster Looney Party is actually on the ballot in many areas of Britain. It was started in 1963 -- long before Monty Pyton. They really do get some votes and they do dress up in silly costumes and stand alongside the other candidates as the votes are announced. It's hilarious.
Here's their official website.
