I'm sorry, but I'm busy fighting off attacks on my well founded chauvinism!

I don't either. There's a strong demand for nurses in this country that will only become stronger in the future. Any qualified person (male or female) who enters the nursing field is something to be happy about.

My over 300 pound MIL just had knee surgery. It took 3 male nurses to lift her. I don't know how many female nurses is would have taken. There are just times when male "brawn" wins over the female "brain."

No. He was a guy. Plenty masculine. He had all the characteristics you want in a PICU nurse.

If I recall correctly he wanted some ice cream and was trying to get the intern's attention by shouting, "Hey you, almost a doctor." I believe it is on his "I started out as a child" album.

My wife's late husband's twin brother is a Lieutenant in the Local Fire Department. He's an EMT and when he retires in two years' time, he's going for his BSRN. He's a real tough guy. His son is heading back to Iraq for his second tour.
We had a male secretary at the Embassy in Buenos Aires a few years back. He was quite prim and proper, and always wore a Calypso Louie type bowtie. Took his steno pad to all the secretaries' meetings. He was gay. It came out later that the KGB posted a gay Officer to their Embassy there and got their Officer an apartment in our guy's building. After the KGB guy made his first attempt to get to know our guy, our guy went directly to the Regional Security Officer and reported the contact. Our guy was pulled out of country forthwith and sent back to the Department.
