Asymmetrical faces with one eye sort of out of kilter and the face mishapen are usually signs of either neonatal trauma or some developemental problem in utero. His demeanor was odd to me.

I used to own/operate a board and care home for manic depressives. This was definitely one of the side effects of their meds.
