Well i guess they realized Americans don't want a women on their money. ;)
If the treasury isn't busy enough start firing people. I thought the Quarters were a neat idea, but all in and all, it's worn off. I don't get the same excitement when i got the occasional Bicentennial quarter. Now they are all different and unique and serve no other purpose then to have QVS sell 12.50 dollars worth of money for 50 bucks to insomniacs

Go look at some of the old coins. Especially the St. Austin(st. something any way) coins. Liberty and peace coins all had women on them. Of course they were also real silver and gold too. Also the women were only lightly clothed.

Well i guess they realized Americans don't want a women on their money. ;)The NOW gang liked to Anthony coin. They believe she was a lesbian.
Nobody knew what Sackyjoewayah looked like so the goobermint commissioned an artist to come up with a concept of what she "might" have looked like.
No way our PC goobermint would go along with putting the likenesses of Lewis and Clark on a coin.
I believe her likeness included a papoose. Wonder whose that was?

As do I because the design was left up to The People, and not the politicians. Not one State voted to put a politicians head on the coin.

I thought the Quarters were a neat idea, but all in and all, it's worn off. Those freakin' quarters aren't so neat if you live in a State that borders Canada. Then they're a pain in the ass because you have to do a double take ever time you reach for your change: "Let's see, is this a State Quarter I haven't seen yet or is this some Canadian crap?"
No one wants to have to stop and think about the money in their hand.
The ONLY thing that could have redeemed the State Quarters project is if the Washington State quarter had Washington's portrait on each side.
