UPDATE: Chloe remains in Cardiac Intensive Care, no great improvement but not sliding downhill either. Her heart is enlarged, and she now is retaining fluids, with some fluid in the lungs and no urine output. The virus is being treated with every med they can give her.

The cardiologist says that it could be weeks in this condition before she is able to leave or either goes downhill. He thinks that even if she recovers, she will always have the risk of heart problems and may even be a candidate for a heart transplant in the future.

This was such a surpise to everyone since she was out and toddling around the yard and laughing and playing just a day before. Somehow this virus just went straight to her heart. She is sedated and they are turning her over every hour.

I probably won't post any more updates until there is some change for better or worse, this could be days or weeks or ??? But sincere thanks to ALL of you who have prayed and responded to little Chloe. Prayer works, good fellowship works, God works. We've done about all we can do.
