Wow! Those are rare (pro-life non-religious people)! Are you SURE you are agnostic?
(It somewhat sounds like me, I have some liberal tendencies, but not on this issue...)

Well, Heartofsong83, I am indeed an agnostic. However, I was raised in the Anglican church, and went to Catholic school, so I have, on more than one occasion, read the Bible. I think that I am sort of like Fox Mulder when it comes to religious issues: "I want to believe." Despite wanting to, my reasoning brain tells me that I should not look forward to that "place reserved in Heaven." Mind you, I like the idea of Heaven, I just think that it sounds too good to be true.
I think that the reason I am pro-life is that because I am unsure of an afterlife, I see life as more precious than most because we only get one shot at living. Terri Schiavo, if she has shown us anything, has shown the power of a living person who, though she could not walk, talk, or feed herself, represents all the best qualities of being human.
