I was able to with their help to keep my husband home until the last 30 hours when his pain became unmanageable at home.. His room had sliding glass doors out to a lovely garden . I remember the peaceful atmosphere. Right now, tonight, my cousin is dying of a brain tumor and his teenage children are visiting him. They have been told he has no pain and he had given instructions no feeding tube. Now some of them are very upset.

Its a hard thing to watch a loved one die in front of your eyes. My Mom had a brain tumor as well.

I bless the great folks from the hospice for helping my Mom pass as pain free and calmly as humanly possible.

At the end she was put on the strongest pain meds and she slowly went home to Jesus where I know she is today. Safe in His arms.

Didn't have to have the President intervene, no Congressional circus and no fanatical crazies threatening to kidnap her either.

I don't know what these people are thinking by butting in on the most private family issues that people have to face in this world.
