Unfortunately giving the government the right to decide who should die is a byproduct of your position. If government can decide who should live then government also decides who should die.

Government should not be involved at all.

Then just how do we prevent this malicious husband from killing his wife? How do we prevent the euthansia society from using this case as a step forward to winning approval for all euthansia?

Just how do we prevent all couples from being subject to the same as the Terri case when one wants the other dead, wants their funds and no bother with them?

Just how do we prevent the "state" taking on that position for those without relatives? Gee so much easier to get them on their way and access their funds.

Look at the precedents being set here. The failure to look at this can have serious repercussions on all of us in the future.

Please re-read your post, CM. The government has no right to decide life or death? Does this mean you are against law enforcement? Death penalty? Prevention of murder? What do we do, leave it all up to "fate"?
