I'm so sick of those on this thread who are holier than thou, smarter than everyone else because they have "facts". Even facts are in dispute right now. There is nothing wrong with Congress getting involved and having this case reviewed by someone OTHER than Greer.

The egos around here sicken me.

I agree. There have been times when I've wondered, "so many judges have signed off on this, there must be a reason." But my sense tells me now that the reason has to do more with "spousal rights" than with the value of human life. Given that Terry's "husband" has "moved on with his life," I'd say that he has thrown away whatever rights he had and that these should now revert to her mom and dad.

And, damn it, if, after all is said and done, they're so bound and determined to kill this woman, then they ought to have the courage to do it with a syringe, not by starvation.
