I got to learn of Islam in 2 years stationed in Saudi---and it was a real eye-opener. My knowledge come form being there---and hearing the "teachings" up close and for real.
The conversations I had with even average Saudis were enough to raise the hair on the back your neck.
The proof of what they said came on 9/11---in spades.

I studied it after 9-11 trying to understand "WHY"?
There is NO redeeming value in the Quran. It's a compiliation of hate, anger, lust, greed, torture, maiming and death.
As a Christian, you obviously haven't studied the Bible, either. There is another Book attached to the OT that teaches love.

Same here--a real dilly, isn't it? I rmember asking a few of the "learned locals" about what some of the Quran really meant---and the anwer was scary.
I can't help but notice that the Contrarian amongst us likes to in one second call islam a "false religon", but then goes right into that it's covered by Freedon Of Religion.
I never saw where the Constitution covered cults.
And no, he has has avoided the Good Book. At least the biggest parts of it.

Excellent point, but some do not wish to think that Islam is other than a death cult. Some fall for the hype and call it the Religion of Peace, when it is the Religion (or CULT) of Pieces.
