"I have never heard of that show!"
You are kidding!
It was a metaphorical presentation concerning the fact that we humans are all really after all subjects of a village mentality. Every once in a while villagers would rebel and would therefore become disruptors of the harmony. The authorities would act accordingly.
Actually, it was even deeper a metaphor than that. There were metaphors nested within metaphors. It was easily a program ahead of it's time.
I loved it way back when I was still learning how to view the world. You ought to take a few cinema courses and you might learn a bit about "art" and stuff.
Personally, I spent a bit of time learning from certain French movie makers. Despite how we may feel about the French these days, there were certain ones who understood the value and potential of art on celluloid.
I respect them greatly.
