Really? I didn't see the film but I love Morgan in everything else.
I thought he deserved an Academy Award in Robin Hood for making anybody believe an African could have somehow made a wrong turn back in the 12th century and would up in England.
Many have suggested that Freeman would be recognized with the BSA Oscar for a body of work rather than the individual performance. It's not supposed to be that way, but if that is the basis for his Oscar it is very well deserved. Loved him in Glory, Shawshank Redemption, Bruce Almighty, etc.
I haven't seen "Million Dollar Baby," and I don't know if I will. But Morgan Freeman has been excellent in every role I've ever seen him play. Even that stinker, Costner's "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves."
