Al, toast the bread first in the toaster, then put butter on it, and sprinkle sugar and a little cinnamon over it and put it briefly under the broiler or toaster oven until it gets a little melty on top. YUM.
Make toast. Butter it. Shake your Cinnamon shaker over it "to taste" - Skip the re-heat - just eat it! I'd recommend a glass of whole milk for best results - put the milk in a glass - not on the toast! ;-)
