She did not like Rock but thought he behaved hisself in the actual show after the opener.

She likes Jude Law so she liked the cretin Penn's smackdown of the fellow cretin Rock.

She thought Winslet, Blanchett and Paltrow looked nice.

She thought Swank's dress was off.

She thought Halle looked very pretty.

Jamie Foxx made her cry.

She loves Clint.

She thought Freeman though a lib homey of mine showed dignity.

She thought Prince needed reading lessons or glasses or both.

She wondered what the hell Banderas is doing with "that woman" ....I mused, maybe she's a reliable beard.

She thought Hayek's body looked great but her hair not. She thought Cruz was not aging well.

She hated all the dark eyeshadow.

My ex is a doppleganger of Hayek and same ethnicity (Lebanese-Syrian Maronite born Latina). I wonder if Hayek has 50 personalities and snakes in her head too?

My favorite latin actor Javier Bardem was not there...I love that guy.

I will rent the Che flick though I loathe the adoration of the idealist turned monster.

I thought Puffy should write a book about how to resurrect oneself from association with felony murder and manslaughter into an icon but still not master English. Only in 21st century America.

A very unfortunate showing of a scrawny back...

Virginia Mayo in The Best Years of Our Lives?

Yes. Frederic March, Myrna Loy, Teresa Wright, Virginia Mayo,... and many others...

story of three veterans returning home after World War II.

I have never seen it... 1946 film.

I vividly remember Dirty Harry -- the opening of the movie where Dirty Harry is trying to get the hot dog and call in a bank robbery in progress.

Before he can finish his hot dog, the robbers come out, and the shots are fired.

One of the robbers he wounded is thinking of reaching for a shotgun, to which Dirty Harry starts the famous line...

Then the end has the mad man holding a kid hostage and daring Dirty Harry to fire at him...

This leads to the 2nd and final use of "Do you feel lucky"...

There have always been dandy boys in hollywood. You mean the 'out of the closet' takeover.

Not only does MDB glorify killing the weak, Eastwood's character expresses anti-Catholic sentiments throughout.

And the great fun of the Harry Potter fantasys. And I loved "love, actually" and really enjoyed 'shall we dance', a movie I could take my parents to! HURRAH!

I feel like Halle hasn't fully matured as a person. She still seems to be extrinsically driven, moreso than intrinsically. I think she's still evolving.

Clint plays a troubled believer. Hardly anti Catholic.

Well, Clint is a self proclaimed Libertarian that registers Republican to vote in more elections.

It is a swing at Catholicism for sure as well.

Spare me. "Troubled" Christians are dandy for Hollywood, the Christ isn't.

I don't think she's happy yet. She needs alone time to detox herself from Eric Benet :(

Catholics don't off dying people.

Seems this movie made it known this character goes to Catholic Church daily...WHY then?

Antonio is a great actor. What the heck are you talking about? He's charismatic, talented, he can sing well and dance. He's outstanding.

"There are plenty of good movies today you just have to look for them."

I'm sorry, but there simply are not. And I am a person who used to watch 2-3 movies a month (at the theatre) and rent in addition. In the 90's I began to notice that I couldn't stay awake through a film, so I stopped going to the theatre, and eventually stopped renting.

About the same time, TV writing went downhill as well, and there was nothing produced that was worth watching. I'm hoping for a renaissance, but I haven't seen much hope.

I'm happy to reward TALENT when I see it. Jamie Fox is a brilliant talent and musician. An all-around entertainer that is great to be celebrated.

But in general, this American "art-form" is in very sad shape at the moment.
