My theory is that people in Hollyweird thought Million Dollar Baby was under attack by The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, so they gave it every award they could.
If Fahrenheit 911 had been nominated for 14 awards, it would have won all 14. Even if one of the categories was "Thinnest, Sexiest Director of a Fake Documentary"

He is the most nominated person, the most winning person this season. Not only was he twice nominated for best actor/best supporing actor, but as I have learned from other threads, his guest turn on some episode of the show "Doc" has won a couple of big (not oscar, but big) awards too.
Jamie Foxx rules, and he was very sweet tonight, getting broken up while thanking his grandma.
