These photos are a nice contrast to the liberal way and the sane peoples way of freeing a country.

First the sane way:

With swift, decisive military action you get 8 million people with purple fingers dancing for democracy.

And the liberal way:

With swift decisive placement of "Free Tibet" bumper stickers on the backs of Volvos, Subarus and Saabs you get this:

A couple of months ago these same pictures were posted. At that time, the girls were identified as common criminals, not Tibetan revolutionaries.

The book China, Inc is an eye-opening must-read book for anyone attempting to understand the impact china has on the world economy. It boggles the mind.

He would not shoot with his team mates so close

You can see in the one picture that the soldier holding the gal is leaning way back so as to not get hit by fragments, i.e, bullet, blood, skull.

This speaks to me that the gun held is the gun used.

Either that or the body was re-arranged afterward. It appears that she fell on the mess, that's why the spot over her left side. After that she was rolled over. A boot kick or something else could have been used to displace the top portion, making it look like a clean cut removal.

Just speculation.

Pick a time, I'll meet you in Kalispell. You bring the posters.

I'll do that. I need to get these pictures blown up so that they can fit on a placard. These things need to be large enough for people to see at a distance.

From this day forward I will do my best not to ever buy anything "Made in China"

When I look over it again, it appears what you are saying is right.

They may have had to hold her down so she didn't move around.

The weapon he is using wouldn't cause the damage as shown. If it did, then his mates would have gotten a good shower and maybe even some fragment souvenir in their own hide.

Again, something is out of sorts, but that's the nature of trying to figure these things out from just a few photos.

You will find less to buy every day, and that is Our problem. Do I have any answers? I'd best not express them.

I always avoid "Made in China" as best as I can. I look for products made in the US or at least Taiwan or Japan.

Frankly, it is nearly impossible to do this. I needed Xylitol gum for my kids (fights ear infections as well as cavities), and the ONLy available one is from China (via a Utah company).

In the second photo, there appears to be as many as four "dissidents."

the third person away from the viewer, appears to be a male and his legs are NOT bound. The two obvious females near the viewer have their legs bound.

Why does the male not have his legs bound?

Re #131

My guess is that they were in the process of being tied. However, this is only a guess. I have neither done it nor watched it myself.:)

In a city in the Hebei province called Shijiazhuang, about 150km south of Beijing, there was a deaf man who bombed a worker's dorm in April of 1999, killing 108 and injuring thirty-some others. It appeared he used the hot water heater timer, set at 5:00am, to detonate a fertilizer/fuel oil bomb. He was captured in early June; swiftly tried, and executed by firing squad before the middle of July of the same year.

Many bodies are cremated in China (guessing because of limitations in cemetery space) and so if one wants to "fight for the rights" of such criminals, they'll just hand you the urn and say, "There he is - fight all you wish."

I've done some stupid stuff in my life. Nothing reaches this high.

I wonder what goes through the minds of the soldiers. At what point do they turn off their hearts and minds to be able to do this stuff?

My wife translates the sign as.."this woman is intentional to do the murders.." roughly a convicted murderer. Nothing political in the sign. Also her name is on the sign.

I echo the scepticism of some other posters regard the Tibetan angle.

Re #135

Yes, I asked the moderator to replace "dissidents" with "prisoners." Comments on the top of the post was deleted as well. I agree that the source was not accurate. Thanks for your comment anyway.:)

RE: whatever supports my agenda

Cute.

How about something substantive, not some stupid porno site? To wit,

http://www.infovlad.net/index.php?p=125

This site says, "The background story is unknown, but this is what happened last december in Mainland China."

There's a link to the photos at this site but the link is to an Asian language site.

I googled, china executions 2004 photos

The link to the photos at the above site is

http://www.peacehall.com/news/gb/china/2004/12/200412130343.shtml

If you google for that link you can get a translation.

As I read the translation it says, "not explains the time and the place"

That is, it appears that even they do not know why the women were executed.

"At what point do they turn off their hearts and minds to be able to do this stuff?"

A careful study of the victim(s) cauterizes the emotions just enough for the moment.

Question. . . isn't there still a state or two that has firing squad as a legal means of execution?

Yes, it's still on the books in Utah. In practical terms though, they won't use the firing squad unless the condemned person specifically requests it, because of the negative, sensationalist way the MSM presents the story.

The last man executed by firing squad was strapped to a chair and shot through the heart by four men with .30-30 rifles.
