C-SPAN runs Lyndon Johnson audiotapes on Sundays, and a few months back there was a lengthy segment with Johnson discussing the need to get rid of the "homosexuals and communists" in the State Department. Johnson seemed convinced that they two went hand in hand, and obviously that they were a threat to American security.

Rank and file homosexual activists don't know it but, they're nothing more than useful 'tools of destruction' being used by the communists to destroy America's traditional civilization.

LBJ was right about a lot of things, but some of his programs and some of his key appointees opened the back door to a new age of darkness. I just don't know where the man's head was at or was what he was saying was an exercise of talking out of both sides of his mouth.
