I am not saying Michael promised Greer anything.
I am saying it seems coincidental that the legislature in Florida is bent on ensuring it can legally take life at it's discretion, based upon the opportunity to fulfill a market for organs in relatively healthy condition. Isn't that the bottom line of what will happen if a court is given discretion over deciding what medical doctors can't even decide?
The market will be there, it will grow to fill the supply and demand.
Do all the politicians and legislators want to be vampires?
No. There are already laws and provisions for DNR by request, and this is an issue exclusively handled in one court, by one judge.
These politicians and legislators see the issue from different perspectives, and I think most have isolated themselves from this incident.
Maybe Greer thinks he is following the law, and maybe I'm nuts, but not feeding Terri is no different from starving a retarded child because you no longer want her.
What is his motivation to be so one-sided?
I mean, what motivates a judge to declare to a mother and father and siblings, "I'm going to require that your daughter be starved to death, as I have seen for myself just how bra.. I mean been told her mind has already gone."
"Oh, and by the way, you are not permitted to see her. Sorry, no last hurrahs, no goodbyes, nothing. "
P.S. "None of those Darn Catholic Last Rites either, YOU HEAR ME?"
