I'll take a pass on this, my friend. Just not in the mood.

Neither am I, I listened to his show regularly, tried to call in all the time to help him with certain points, but when he calls us kooks, then uses his insults to promote his own website bulletin board, that is the mark of a petty man, or an opportunist or a man who just didn't engage his brain before he engaged his mouth.

We used to be his most ardent supporters, and he KNOWS that, and then he just trashes us on the air live????

NO ONE has to agree 100% with someone, I don't with you, you don't with me, but we can still hang out in public without having to take warm showers at 3 in the morning, but when we go public and tell people to stay away from each other because the other is a kook, when the reality is, ONE OF US helped make the other one successful in the first place...that is just deplorable.

I will use a great example: Ann Coulter is supported here like no where else, even more than on her own site. But that does not mean that she does not have her detractors.

Because of my previous support, some have joked (or not joked) that I was her biggest fan. Well, on 2 occasions I have openly disagreed with her. And the last time was about 2 weeks ago.

Does that mean I think she is a kook? That I have to burn her books? To go on the radio and tell people to stay away from her and go read my books instead? Just because I thought she was dead wrong on a solution to the court systems? Not that her idea wouldn't work to some degree, but that the origin of the problem was not addressed by her proposed solution?

I would smack the first person she ever asked me to if she needed it, but that does not mean that I can't tell her she missed a great point and explain in detail on what I think was wrong and say it with multiple paragraphs, and still think she is the bee's Knees!

Sean Hannity's whining that people are speaking mean about him...Well, Ann Coulter has had some awful stuff said about her to include accusations she is a transsexual, and yet her responses show more maturity than Sean did yesterday, that is obvious. She showed she is made of tougher stuff than Sean.

Of the tens of thousands of people who are registered here, we had less than 1% of them, out of the total aggregate make disparaging comments about Sean Hannity.

And for that he gets all huffy and call us kooks??

I admit that I am a highly emotional person myself sometimes, and often quite naive, but I cannot imagine I would ever bad mouth the group of people who made me successful and did more to promote my media success without pay or expectation of reward like Sean did when he trashed Freerepublic.com yesterday.

I agree.

I was highly offended. If you don't like a site - just don't go there as he apparently doesn't. But - you don't go nationwide and make a judgement on the whole site (from two-three years ago) and use your show to tear down the work done by Jim Robinson for years. How very classy of Mr. Hannity. Guess he does not expect us to know a cheap shot when we see it either.

Apparently, Sean does not know that Jim has designated this site will not allow the continual Bush bashing as done in the past. Apparently he does not know that Jim has stated that our goal is to fight the democrats - not other conservatives. Apparently he does not know how much criticism Mr. Robinson has taken over this decision.

But - Sean felt free to tell all his listeners that this is a kook site - we eat our own. Why would he do that on the air? Could it be to try and lure people to his site so that he could more easily "sell" his wares?

Could it be Sean is so involved in self promotion and ego basking that he fails to realize his shows suffer. We see this and complain about it. Why is it so hard for him to realize that people understand self-promotion, ego basking, fluff, filler? Why would he think people want to tune in to sit through that stuff? We are looking for substance, something of interest, information - we are not looking for an idol to worship - sorry.

We are never looking for book selling, we are never looking for ego stroking of a host, we are never looking for catering to those who seek to destroy this country. Why is it so hard to understand that we expect something worth listening to and we get sick to death of the repetition, the selling, the constant filler of promoting the next segments?

FreeRepublic has had to fight the "kook" designation for years and many do not visit the site because of the "kook" designation. Thanks a lot Sean.

I do not visit "kook" sites.

I am still mad at Sean and it will be a while before I do not feel that he decided to wield his power AGAINST a very effective conservative website and we will have to mount more years of building up our reputation again.

A thoroughly cheap shot that will be costly to the reputation of this site.

I hope Mark answers that post.
