I'm certainly with you on that score!
Alas, I've been considered fringe in a list of ways most of my life. LOL.
While I've actually been more traditional, conservative, and even an old fuddy duddy stick-in-the-mud even as a teen! LOL.
However, I do tend to think outside the box and to have an interest in a very wide diversity of topics--including some "fringe" ones.
Speaking of "fringe," Quix, I think it is safe to say that our founding fathers were "fringe" in their day. Very much so, really. Now that I think of it, "fringe" is an American tradition.
