We're thumbing out noses at the whole world on this Kyoto BS and the ICC.

Why does anyone seriously believe we're gonna let ourselves become a people without arms and automobiles who live in glorified antfarms?

Conservatism is ascendent in this country. The aging watermelons in their environmental wackotanks can churn out all the "plans" they want to.

Their Soylent Green vision of the future of humanity will die with them.

Why the pessimism? We beat Fascism, Communism, and eight long years of Krinton. The U.N. is boxing above it's weight class with us. We're not Canada.

Nothing is forever--just ask the Democrats. What happens when Hillary becomes President? Or Feinstein? Or Obama?

And the best time to design and install impregnable, strategic obstacles in front of Agenda 12 and its ilk is when you are strong, not when you are week.

Pay attention now. Smart growth is happening in every city in this country. It promotes high density "ant farms" where you sign a covenant with your land lord that you will not own a car, in order to get reduced rent. You will live in a "transportation hub" in 'workforce housing" EXACTLY like the soviet workers did in the Soviet Union. Just look at any smart growth plan and you will see the same language used here. The workforce must be trained (goals 2000, no child left behind), it must have housing (smart growth high density apartments next to highrist business parks so workers don't need cars) and transportation must be public so that those pesky workers can't go where they want when they want.

So you believe but this is also pushed by Republicans. Our wonderful new governor that the party leadership just had to have instead of a real conservative, pushed and signed a bill that turned one 5th of our state into a conservancy. You may not want to believe this is happening but it is. The fact that you fly the New York flag tells me a lot. Wait until the feds alone own more than 50% of your state. It's over 60% here in CA. This is not counting state and local governments. Then you have conservancies buying up even more land or filing lawsuits like the one out in Natomas area that make it so you can't develop your property. Nothing left to do but sell it to a conservancy for a vastly reduced price. There are great articles on this published in the Washington Post, not exactly your bastion of conservatism.

"We're thumbing out noses at the whole world on this Kyoto BS and the ICC."

Environmental laws and treaties are simply Bolshevik attempts at overcoming the private property traditions found in free societies. They realized that they don't have to own it to control it.

You are correct that this is a winnable fight, but people have to know that there is a fight in order to win it.

Have you ever asked yourself why the United States would (a) join an organization led by Communists,
(b) where Democracy is not the goal of all members,
(c) why the US Congress would promote treaties that disolve our sovereignty and guarantee independence from Communism,
(d) why not one elected legislator stands up to tell you the truth about their intentions and support for the UN Agenda 21 goals,
(e)why our military was ordered to join with the UN Forces under President Clinton,
(f) why the United States is the largest donor to the UN Budget,
(g) why the truth isn't being screamed by our "Patriots", ex military men, Senator McCain and President Bush,
(h)why we are so damn stupid and keep walking right into these burning fires?

How many times do we have to get burned before we will do something to save America?

This blind trust in politicians is sheer ignorance. Quit protecting yourselves from the facts! Turn your hats around and open up to ideas different than what comes over the damn television. Educate yourself to the hazards that are out there.

Anytime we sign a treaty we disolve some of our sovereignty because we have agreed to do as the treaty says FOREVER!

THE TREATY NEEDS TO BE ABROGATED BEFORE WE CAN DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT OR ELSE THE WORLD COURT WILL FIND US AT FAULT.

Do you have children? Then educate yourselves for their benefit.

The government is following a lot of UN dictates right now, through bureaucracy whether we approve the treaties or not. Its been happening very slowly for a long time but it has always been moving forward.

>"Conservatism is ascendent in this country."<

- I don't know...with a 2.7 trillion dollar federal budget, and a huge deficit, the Republicans in Congress don't even have the stones to stop funding the National Endowment for the Arts or PeeB.S.

>"The aging watermelons in their environmental wackotanks can churn out all the "plans" they want to."<

- Do a google search on World Heritage Sites and our National Parks:

At present, there are 15 U.N.ESCO World Heritage Sites that are also units of our National Park Service. They are listed below, along with the years in which the properties were established as World Heritage sites.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park (1995)

Chaco Culture National Historical Park (1987)

Everglades National Park (1979)

Grand Canyon National Park (1979)

Great Smoky Mountains National Park (1983)

"" The U.N. is boxing above it's weight class with us. We're not Canada.""

We might as well be. The UN is now taking over the seas, with Dubya's support.
