Question for aviation expert: Are there pressure recording gages to determine whether or not the wings are delivering lift? Are black boxes required on craft of this size?

This assumes that the crew are the two missing and cannot convey this info themselves.

It would have a flight data recorder. It will show airspeed, flap, stab positions, engine data, altitude, throttle position, etc.

They will find out what happened.

There will be no wing information but there will be a flight data recorder. NTSB wlll be able to verify airspeed and engine parameters. Even with the fire the fuselage looks intact enough to confirm the plane's configuration: flap settings etc
