LOL!
All kidding aside--would it surprise you if they DID put lights and toll barriers?
The democRATS in NJ would toll their own granny!
I don't think these new 'small-jets' will revolutionize air travel without an overhaul of training requirements. The aviation industry has a small cross-section of people, referred to as pilot-owners. These are the guys with the bucks to by the machine and fly it, but who do not have the time/take the time to become professional aviators. I currently work for a company that has several high performance single-engine turboprops and I have seen first hand what owner-operators do to high performance aircraft, and it's not pretty. Handing this group (which these small jets are targeted towards) even higher performing machines = many more incidents and accidents, and a resulting increase in FAA oversight for the rest of us. There are few people who can afford million-dollar aircraft AND afford the time to fly them proficiently.
Perhaps they didn't pay attention to their "weights and balances".
