Ping.
thank you, friend
Glad to spread the word. It will be good to see something good on that show.
That's for sure. Happy to see Rather won't be doing it.
TV Alert: Ukraine's Victor Yushchenko
on 60 Minutes Tonite (Sunday)
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my Yushchenko vs. Yanukovych/Ukraine election ping list!. . .don't be shy.
Thanks for the ping! I have my reservations about Yushchenko, but I will definately see what he has to say tonight--TTS
He'd better beware of an ambush with documents from Kinkos.
I have no knowledge of his wealth or how he got it.What's the story on that? (The "for Dummies" version if you have that). :^)
Thanks.
I think it's fair to be skeptical of anyone in power, especially when money and power has big time to do with it (let's face it, these days just good looks don't get folk into power spots, ruling masses...).
For me, as a Ukrainian American, it's a time (long overdue) to celebrate the rebirth of a nation long under the thumb of communism and oligarchs. In no way do I believe it'll all change overnight --just as no one ought to expect democracy to take root overnight in Iraq-- but w/ Yushchenko, the Ukrainian people have a genuine shot at gold.
The new SoS, Madam Secretary Rice, as a longtime scholar of that region's politics, has arrived at a good time. I trust she will provide Bush sound advice when it comes to Ukraine and its neighbors. All the more reason to celebrate and thank the US voters for having the resolve and intel to vote Bush back in for another 4 years.
PS: BTW, this morning's appearance by Sen Kerry on MTP showed once again the qualities that man lacks to be CiC. And, I don't mean that in a nasty way -- simply an observation. Every other word was about how/when HE met with some leader here and there. Essentially, that's all he had to say. The guy's got an ego bigger than Howard Hughes' Hercules (for those who enjoyed Aviator this past weekend). He's got no vision, and it shows.
Good Morning Thank you "MeekOneGOP"do you know what he talk?Thank you
I got a phone call when this show came on, and caught the last few minutes of this. I missed most of it, but he mentioned the poisoning and something about the source was possibly from Russia. It was translated from Ukraine by a translator in the show. I wish I could have seen all of it.
