Well, the guy who won the most presidential elections was probably the most disastrous president of the 20th century, at least domestically. So who to blame? The lack of term limits or the idiot Americans who gave FDR landslide after landslide? I say both. Then again, who knows?
I would contend the latter.
Since FDR subjectively helped so many - and was "winning" the war - Americans were more than willing to re-elect him.
But no comes the tricky question - once the war was over, and Americans began to realize exactly what FDR has wrought, would they still have continued to re-elect him?
How about if Clinton had been re-elected to a third term? Would the American people have re-elected him to a fourth considering that 9/11 would have been blamed SOLELY on him?
