That wasn't the real reason John V. lost the Mayoralty...he went from being an almost Conservative GOPer,to faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar lefty lunatic,who embraced the Black Panthers.

But Mayor Bilandic (sp?) DID lose,because he didn't even get LSD cleaned in one of Chicago's WORST blizzard seasons.

What/where is LSD? My brother went to the U of Chi, boy never wore a winter coat in his life until Chi-town chilled him out good. He came home for Christmas in the first real down coat we'd ever seen. I think he might have started that craze!
