Central NH checking in-just started snowing, pressure dropped from 29.49 to 29.09 since 3PM, wind has moved from SSE to NE and picked up to 5mph steady gusting to 12. Temp dropped from 11F at 3PM to 4F now.

Should be a long night.

Must be a "dry slot" which is common in these type of rapidly intensifying storms. In fact, there is a huge dry slot over most of central PA which is keeping accumulations much lower than forecasted (so far).

I remember during the Blizzard of '93, the Boston area got into a dry slot and a forecasted 30 inches of snow ended up being only about 15.
