Hi...SamAdams76 and All FReepers in the path of this massive Storm.

I couldn't sleep all night, the Arthritis is bothering me as the Barometric pressure and temperatures drop.

OY VEY!...It's really COLD here -1 with the Wind Chill, and No White Flufy Stuff yet.

The air is very heavy and the Birds aren't chirping as usual, they know that something Bad is coming.

Will keep you posted as the day....weekend progresses as long as we have Electricity / Power that is.

PRAYING for Everyone to Stay Warm and Safe.

PS: Please PRAY for our: State Troopers, Policemen, Firemen and EMS Rescue personnel, Hospitals and their Staff...all who are in the path of this Storm...May GOD Bless and Keep them Safe.

I echo your thoughts about our policemen, paramedics, firemen and other emergency personnel who must work through this storm - weekend or not. Most of us have the luxury of staying in a warm house by the fireside during this storm and we should be grateful. Also, we should be out of the way. Let the snowplows keep the roads clear for any emergency vehicles. The rest of us don't need to be out there causing additional problems. So many accidents in these storms could have been prevented because so many involved didn't really need to be out there in the first place. So get your errands done BEFORE the storm hits!

My wife and I went to breakfast this morning and just got some groceries. It is a madhouse out there. Supermarket shelves are literally clearing off and we had to park in an adjacent lot because the supermarket lot was completely full (first time I've seen that happen).

Local weatherforecasters in the Boston area are beside themselves this morning. I get the feeling that the hype is for real this time. I'm also following the weather discussions of the professional meterologists and they are all on the same page. The Northeast is getting a true blizzard and it's going to be the storm of the century (of course, we are only five years into it).
