IMHO, "Blade Runner" was a pretty good movie from the novel "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?".

I agree. I really liked Blade Runner. It's too slow for most people but it's outstanding when you look at it as futuristic type movie with all the problems of the future but not the modern conveniences for all. What I mean is the constant rain (global warming) the pillar's of fire burning off (methane gas) and the flying cars for the better off and the normal people were still on the ground using mass transportation. Allot of sci-fi movies project the future as a socialist utopia but not this one. I also liked Harrison Ford in the Bogart type roll and of course Sean Young is HOT. Anyway I can go on. And the police wearing face Shields was cool. I did not read the novel it was made from but I did read a follow up novel to it. Don't remember the name but I remember it SUCKED. It might have been blade runner two or something. I think now I'll have to go find the original novel and read it.
