"But he convinced me that abortion is a civil rights issue, that if you have injustice for some members of your population, your whole population has injustice."
So this whackos solution to this injustice is to murder the baby! How is that NOT an injustice?

Yuppers.
Checked out his history, he's quite good at being inflammatory.

I know the feeling! Teach your daughter to say, "Watch your mouth and keep your hands to yourself, creep!" Actually, I taught my daughter how to throw a punch from the shoulder.
She can also kick most people in the head.
Shalom.

A 9-year-old boy put the moves on Anoreth when she was 10 (but short for her age :-). (He wasn't one of the shining stars of our Cub Scout pack, but that's beside the point.) The adults thought it was cute, "When is she going to start dating?" AAAGH.
That was when I told her that if *anyone* touched her, other than a handshake, or addressed her in a way she didn't like, she had our permission to be *really, really loud and rude*. She's never had to do it, but I know she will, if necessary.

Checked out his history, he's quite good at being inflammatory. Well, you wouldn't know it from this thread. His post wasn't inflammatory, it was stupid.
Well, not really stupid. It was more like SSSSSTTTTTTTUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
It would be blasphemy to take seriously such a lame attempt to smear the Name of the Lord.
Shalom.

Let me explain something to you that your parents, perhaps, neglected to explain. (This is a pity, too: it is fundamental.)
There are two pillars to Wisdom. The first is, "There is a God."
The second is, "You aren't Him."
We used to have an expression, "playing God." That comes from when we as a society used to understand that there were things that were proper for God to decide and mess with, but improper for humans.
Life and death decisions such as these are one of them. God gets to make those calls, and does, every day.
When it comes to innocent babies, we don't.
There you go; now you don't have to appear foolish in public anymore!
At least not on this issue.
Dan

Read its posting history, seems to be a Johnny-one-note.
There are some people who ONLY post on one topic. Most extreme case I've ever seen is a guy calling himself "intacto" who's been here forever but only appears on threads about circumcision. That's his thang. No pun intended.

...that if you have injustice for some members of your population, your whole population has injustice. I guess the unborn child is not a member of the "population"?
