I don't think that it's right for some of you to compare this in anyway to 9-11. This is under completely different circumstances. It would be the same as comparing the tsunami to the holocaust.
Showing horrific photos can work both good & bad.
Of course it shows disrespect for the dead and can desensify people to death, but it's important that everyone understands the magnitude of the event.
