God be with and keep safe our armed forces at Christmas and all year through.
MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
"....and unto you a child is born..........."
God bless you all, my fellow FReepers, and from the RightOnline household in Raleigh, NC, here's wishing you and yours a very, very Merry Christmas.
Lovely ,Valerie!..
And we have a WHITE CHRISTMAS here on the Texas southern Gulf Coast! 5 inches and still falling. It snowed here in 1973, and 1988, but we missed it. We weren't here in Texas yet in 73 and in 88 we were in San Marino Calif. It snows here about once every 15 years. And I think this is the FIRST WHITE CHRISTMAS in Lake Jackson Texas. Snowing all up and down the Texas Gulf Coast to Rio Grande Valley. Houston got snow, Dallas, too. I am glad it is rare. Our kitten keeps running outside and we have to go find him with flashlights. The older cats are HAPPY to stay indoors! And we are tracking in a lot of MESS everytime we go out. My oldest son is 23 and he has been shooting fireworks into the snow. It started falling 11 hours ago and is still falling. HUGE flakes.
Alright, so it's a month or so late.
I know, I know.
Still, I live by the motto: "better late, then never."
Anyway, let's all take some comfort in the re-election of President Bush and the staggering defeat of Michael Dukakis redux.
YAH-HOO!
-good times, G.J.P.(Jr.)
Merry Christmas to all, from the proud RED state of Georgia
Wow. 5 inches in Lake Jackson is huge. That has to be an all time record. I lived in Houston all through the 70's and 80's and we never got more than maybe 2 inches of snow. Enjoy your white Christmas :)
a Blessed Christmas to one and all!
God Bless America!

Seasons Greetings.....
The Quote of the Day is from Ellen Rattner on Fox and Friends......."Merry Christmas"
Merry Christmas to all!! I had fun last night at my grandparent's party as only myself and my brothers were the only Bush voters there. Major league Schadenfreude.
Merry Christmas to you, Next_Time and to all the FReepers!
Merry CHRISTmas!
God bless us, everyone! --Tiny Tim
Let's remember our brave men and women in the military and their families. God bless them and keep them safe!
And per my tradition, here's a few smilies to brighten up the day:
To all believers: MERRY CHRISTMAS
To secularist: Good luck
