Chilling!
A man views fire and smoke pouring from a Chaldean church after gunmen attacked two churches in the latest violence directed against one of Iraq (news - web sites)'s several religious and ethnic groups in the tense northern Iraqi city of Mosul, December 7, 2004. Members of the churches, one Armenian, the other Chaldean, said gunmen burst in, forced people to leave and set off explosions inside the buildings, damaging them but hurting no one.

One of the first things we can do is start dispelling myths about just what we are up against. History can help. There is nothing new about this conflict - it started long before 'The Great Satan' America ever existed. I'm talking about the Crusades. Our 'new age' politically correct education system somehow has created the knee-jerk impression that the Crusades are something to be ashamed of and Muslims were somehow victims and Christians the perpetrators. Somehow we must start to unravel the lies, half-truths, and distortions by confronting them with historical fact - This book might be a good place to start. There is absolutely no reason we should be playing defense when it comes to Islam.

"Islam is always at war, even when it tries smiling. His war is the extinction of Christianity. That is what a careful reading of the Koran revealed to me." Agreed.
