Inaccurate report of suspicious "old police car"
Press Release from: Marion County Sheriff's Office
On Tuesday, January 11th, 2004, it was reported to the media that a car that appeared to be "an old police car" with a spotlight and antenna had been following a school bus in the Silver Falls School District. The car was in fact an unmarked Marion County Sheriff's Office car. The Deputies in the car were in the area to assist the Silverton Police Department.
The Silverton Police Department's School Resource Officer contacted our office with information about another suspicious brown car with unknown Washington license plates that had been seen in the area of one or more school buses. The occupants were apparently one male and one female.
The license plate that was listed by at least one publication was the one on the Marion County Sheriff's Office car described above and not that of ANY suspicious vehicle.
For additional specific information about the suspicious brown car please contact the Silverton Police Department.

A day in the life of the Mujahideen in Fallujah in pictures!!!
He begins by praying to Allah,
then he prepares his arms,
then he takes the route to the front,
and goes from one front to the other,
he recovers,
and when a Mujahideen rests,
another takes his shift.
THANK YOU very much for that update penguino.
Thanks penguino for the suspicious car update. Still sounds odd that this brown car is not given more of a description.
