Very true. My daughter's class went to sing "holiday songs" to the vets at the local American Legion today. The muslim kids in her class (three of them) were NOT PERMITTED to go by their parents and were allowed to opt out of the field trip. Why? Because the parents are opposed to American soldiers, even WWII vets, without whom the scum wouldn't even be allowed to live and work here and suck off the teat of American bounty. That should make all of us sick!

"The muslim kids in her class (three of them) were NOT PERMITTED to go by their parents and were allowed to opt out of the field trip."

That's my point - they are starting to behave here as they now do in France. We will not stand by and take it.

The point here is that, in this country, they have to manufacture oppression, as in this example. No one told them to go Gitmo or Abul Grab and watch prisoners being humiliated (arguably). No, they were only asked to pay respects to people who put their lives on the line for the country they now live in (and are probably citizens of), with nothing to do at all with Muslims. And they cannot even do that. My guess is that the Hispanic parents had no problem with the field trip.

So, here's example 1 on what Muslims in this country are doing to become a hated group. And it's their parents doing it, in this case. Their classmates will remember this behavior - and I am, once again, vindicated.

That is disgusting. I hope those three children will learn better, and not follow the close-minded mistakes of their parents.

A question ~ was the parental disapproval over the issue of "singing holiday songs" or "visiting veterans"?

Your statement has ignited a firestorm further down the thread that's a bit incomprehensible. At the moment I'm aware of several Moslem families in my neighborhood with children IN the American military around the world. Still, I'm pretty sure none of them would approve of those children "singing holiday songs", particularly not "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer", "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", and others.

In fact, I know Christians who disapprove of their children singing any of these secular "seasons greetings" songs from the ACLU approved list. More than likely all the parents should have kept their kids out of that event unless appropriate songs were allowed!
