What's more important [and to whom] is open to question: have you considered senatorial pay, perks, pension and health insurance? Besides, trying to impersonate a Senator might be a criminal offense, while impersonating a Catholic is not.
I hadn't given any thought to the salary, pension and other perks, but now you've got me thinking. Then there's the matter of impersonating a Senator. They probably do have it rigged so that impersonating a politician (read: criminal) is some kind of crime, but maybe there's a loophole. I mean, they let "The Colonel" keep selling fried chicken and all, right?
