Zogby ^

Zogby International’s new Zogby Interactive poll is the “wave of the future,” and was validated by the 2004 election, pollster John Zogby announced.

“This poll proved to be extremely accurate,” Zogby said. “I am confident it will be a leading part of our 2006 and 2008 efforts—and is setting the standard for a second generation of online polling.”

KEYWORDS:
Bush did better on election day in 18 out of 20 states that Zogby polled in. The two, Nevada and Ohio Bush over performed by 2 and three points respectively. Keep in mind he still won those two states. Not one state was called for Bush that Kerr won, while Bush won two that were called for Kerry and Blew him away in another that was tied (Virginia). If I have a method that overrates on e side 90% of the time, How can that method be accurate? Zogby needs to prove himself or he'll lose all the money he gets as a polling firm.

Zogby? Wasn't he a James Bond villain or something?

Zogby is an idiot. He predicted Kerry would win more than 300 ECV.

I don't know how they can say it was accurate if some of the people goofed the poll like I did. I said I was a female, HS grad, atheist, hispanic, union worker, earning $100k and voting for Bush.

He may have predicted the winner in some states, something I could have done just as well, but these polls don't have credibility when they say that Bush will win a state like TN 50-47, when on election day he wins 57-43.

Sure, he called some states right but missed by a lot. Isn't that outside of his margin of error. If a result ends up outside your margin of error (Tennessee, Virginia, etc.), your methodology is WRONG. You guaranteed something and it didn't happen. It should be time to pay the piper, but intellectual honesty and integrity are to Zogby as pacifist is to Hitler.

Zogby - trying desperately to save his reputation which is currently a heap of smoldering cinders. Game over, partisan loser.

I did this Zogby poll twice, both times saying I was a black female minority voting for Nader.

Garbage in, garbage out.

A monkey tossing poop at a US map would have done better picking states than Zogby did this year....
