Yes, call me old fashioned, but I never believed that women should be ministers. There is something very queer and almost pagan in seeing a woman with a Roman collar. Also like homosexuals in the army - a special interest group like women always brings a little special agenda to whatever needs to be done.
I don't hate women, but there is a time and place for everything I think.
Have you heard of liberal Catholic and Protestant women religious organizations and National Council of Churches things how they always turn a ceremony or symposium away from Jesus and go more towards a new age pagan goddess aproach?
Yeah. I know what you're saying. I guess I wouldn't have a problem with it if the woman was upholding the cannons. BUT the problem with being reasonable about everything is that eventually you have no standards, no teachings and you've finally floudered on so many tangents you don't have a church at all. Church is not the place for personal agendas.
I don't follow the latest deviations in churches. I'm still watching the apples spoil from the inside out over gay marriage.
