It is clear that there are no efforts being made to get LEO to work with FED.
Justifications for this attitude are more numerous than the illegal count, but that is changing as more and more jump the borders.
If the Fed were to create large numbers of enforcement agents to counter this, the complaint would be too much Federal interference, and that has already occurred.
All of my arguments in favor of the idea that work permits and employer data bases has a good chance at controlling this situation from the demand side become more pertinent as these barriers to enforcement become clear.
More warehouse space to store these people will be circumvented by ACLU types.
Enforcement actions like roundups and apprehensions are being derailed by LEO and courts are resistant to setting up a processing "triage" type of fast justice for their own judicial "rights" worries.
We are now at a total impasse.
The only thing left is to jack up the license plates and replace the entire vehicle.
We have no choices or options left that have not been tried and subsequently failed for a myriad of reasons.
Let's hope that cooler heads prevail and some common sense reforms are put in place to eliminate the causes of illegal immigration as soon as possible.
The status quo is DOA. We cannot afford to continue this stupid argument that "all we need to do is enforce the laws we currently have".
That statement is simply and obviously not true.
We, the people, don't want amnesty given.
Therefore, we, the people, and the government are at an impasse.
There will be vigilanteism, beatings, riots, and blood in the streets before it's all over.
