I recall back in the 70's the AGM-53 Condor anti-ship missile that was canceled, it had 60nm range, 630lb warhead and Mach 2.9 speed:

Sounds like a good reason to bring it back. I like the W73 N-warhead option. I wonder how feasible a gamma radiation warhead is?
