How come Kerry, as well as Lieberman before him, was never forced to resign from the senate the way Dole was when he ran? I don't mind Lieberman in there, but I wished Kerry had been forced to leave when he ran for president, so we wouldn't have to see his mug anymore.
Well, gop_gen, he did quit his job when he ran. When he was snow board ing in Aspen, or Windsurfing with those "normal guys" on Nantucket, the Senate was in session. He just stopped showing. And our treasonous press played it as a "well deserved vacation" never mentioning he was absent from his job. Also, when he selected John Edwards for his running-mate, John Edwards stopped showing up too.

I saw the article to which you referred last Sunday also. The Boston Globe is milking the Kerry campaign more than they are milking the Red Sox victory. Messed up.

LOL! And his party, the Dems, seem to be stuck in their Leftist positions, as well.

"He has a lot to be proud of, and I hope he'll find what I did that it was great to have the U.S. Senate to come back to," Lieberman said. OK, Joe, explain what it is he has to be proud of as a Senator. Was it his consistent votes against the military, for higher and higher taxes, for his many failures to support the defense of the nation? What? Is he proud of his terrible attenmdance record and failure to vote on key issues? Whatta loser he is and you, Joe, know it but refuse to say it.

"He has a lot to be proud of, and I hope he'll find what I did that it was great to have the U.S. Senate to come back to," Lieberman said. Neither was confident enough or dumb enough to give up his day job.
To: West Coast Conservative
Does mean that he's actually going to do his job?
