Unlike others here I don't claim to know what th rules of imbed are and what vetting took place for this story, but the more this story develops, the more it becomes clear that Sites sidestepped some of the process.I am convinced that the USMC would never have allowed such controversial video to be released that allowed easy and clear identification of the marines in it,therebe exposing their families to anxiety, grief and possible danger.I hope Sites is dealt with harshly by the proper authorities and if he lives anywhere in the US Good Luck to him going about his Town !
I don't know the rules either, but IMO, knowing wounded fighters - possibly armed, are holed up in a building and not revealing that one has prior knowledge of the situation is no different than knowing an allyway is packed with explosives or mines and allowing Marines to make the bodycount just for his story.
I hope the Marines figure out this troll and does him justice.
