TE Lawrence (not a General until after the war?)Whoa! TE Lawrence was a gifted guerilla leader but he never made general. Lieutenant Colonel, I think. He also left the Army, then re-enlisted in the RAF as an aircraft mechanic under an assumed name to escape the fame he had gained in the first war.
