I have a 3 year old Moluccan, along with a Caninde and a Caique. We turned our formal dining room into a bird room for them. Put large silk trees between their cages to give them a little of the "rain forest" feel. My girl's name is Lalei...Hawaiian for "pretty bird".

My bird has her own room. It's one of the spare bedrooms. She used to spend a lot of time out of doors in an aviary in the back yard but we've not let her out in light of the threat of Newcastle's Disease.
And, how do you know you have a female? I just found out for sure about three years ago when the vet was doing some blood work I went ahead and paid the $60 and had her sexed. I had always thought she was female but with Moluccans, telling males and females apart is nearly impossible.
