I have a Timneh African Gray that I got 3 years ago when he was 3 weeks old. He thinks I am his mom. He can speak about 150 words and is still learning. He has my pager tone down and often has me looking for it all over the house.

I'd have a Timneh, too, 'cept then I'd be the DIVORCED crazy bird lady on the street! My macaws are very "vocal" (there ARE 36 ways to say 'hello' don't cha know) but are limited in vocabulary. Since we just added a chocolate lab to *their* flock, they are none too happy. I think another feathered member would send them over the edge :)
